The East Rand Welfare Centre is a CYCC that runs on an Islamic Ethos.
Non Profit
East Rand Welfare Centre is a Non-Profit Company which provides a safe refuge for aged O - 18 years up to 40 children (males).
Care
Children who have been abandoned, orphaned and found to be in need of care by the Children's Court.
Intake
Intake of children are between the ages of 00- 04 years old.
Our Organisation
Our organisation came into existence in April 2019.
Prophet Muhammad peace and
blessings be upon him said, "The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this" and he held his two
fingers together to illustrate.

Malik ibn Al-Harith reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
"Whoever embraces an orphan of two Muslim parents by feeding him and giving him drink until he is independent of him, Paradise will certainly be necessary for him".
